Jonathan and Joanne are husband and wife, and either of them are exceptional enought to front a band on their own. Jonathan plays guitar and sings, Joanne sings, and custom tracks carry the bass, drums and keys behind them so the room gets the weight of a bigger lineup. Their voices are very different, which lets them cover a far wider range of songs and sing each one the way it should sound.
All of that range goes on keeping the floor full. The set runs from Dolly Parton and Shania through Oasis and Blink-182 to The Proclaimers, and they read the room to pick what comes next, so every age group gets its turn. The two of them are plainly having a ball up there, relaxed with each other and happy to come down onto the floor to sing with everyone, and that pulls people in: by the end of the night every song is a sing-along, finishing on Loch Lomond if you want it. What couples write about afterwards is a dancefloor that was full from the first song, and at The Radstone even the bar staff were dancing behind the bar.

WOW the Rays…. We booked them to do our 30th Wedding Anniversary/ Wedding Renewal Celebration Party that in truth got as big as a Wedding Jonny and Joanne, The Rays were awesome in terms of communication in advance and accommodating our song requests. On the night itself they just knew how to read the room and get people on the dance floor at the right times. The comments throughout the night, the next day and the weeks after were so positive about the Rays It’s a big thing trusting a band to make your day special, The Rays done that and more for us.
